Racing to Adelaide this November

For the second time this year and third time in the past 12 months, Matt Hall Racing is making the trip to Adelaide, South Australia for a weekend of air displays at the RAAF Edinburgh Air Show, in conjunction with joy flights out of Parafield Airport.

Following on from his victory in the 2019 Red Bull Air Race World Championship, Hall and his team have appeared at a select few events in the past weeks. However, the first week of November is set to be the biggest team showing since the Aussie pilot triumphed in Chiba, Japan.

The MHR team will arrive at Parafield Airport on Wednesday November 6 and will have a select number of joy flights available, departing from Hartwig Air’s ‘Adelaide flight Experience’ hangar. Joy flights will then take place with three full days from Thursday November 7 to Saturday November 9, including highly sought-after end of day flights that will take in the setting daylight over the picturesque Adelaide city.

While joy flights will operate across those three days, Hall will have his MXS-R race plane at the RAAF Base Edinburgh for air displays at this year’s military air show. In addition to his MXS-R, Hall will also jump aboard the Mustang P-51D he co-owns with the Mustang Flights Australia organisation for a handful of demonstration flights.

The last time Hall and his team were in South Australia was to support the Supercars OTR SuperSprint, with joy flights also taking to the sky that weekend.

Previously Hall had appeared at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival, where he took on the cars such as the Brabham BT62 Supercar in a series of drag races.
